Lights
Flush Light
Perimeter lights are one of the most important safety features on your helipad. They are used to mark and illuminate the FATO and TLOF as well as helping the pilot locate the pad and safely land during night operations and inclement weather conditions.

Obstruction Lights
Obstruction lights are an important safety feature of any helipad. They are used to mark and illuminate any type of obstruction in and around the FATO and TLOF. They also help the pilot locate the pad obstructions from a safe distance and safely land during night operations and inclement weather conditions.

Single Colour Beacon
Our 500 watt identification beacons provide long range visibility, even in heavily lighted areas. The beacons also provide an image retaining pulse type of flash for better locatability.
LED Hooded Flood Light
The FEC Heliports LED Flood Light is a heavy duty, durable, hooded surface flood light that will illuminate your heliport landing area and at the same time protects the pilot from glare. The Flood Light housing is weather-tight with an IP55 ingress protection rating. The Light housing is made of marine grade, non-corrosive aluminium and is powder coated yellow for high visibility and extra protection against the elements.

Pilot Controlled Lighting
Installation of pilot controlled lighting at your heliport means that any inbound pilot can activate the perimeter lights on the helipad by simply keying his microphone on the proper VHF frequency. With the FAA/ICAO approved controller, a second and third
circuit may also be activated to control light intensity, and turn on/off additional lights or other equipment. Standard or custom frequency selections are available.
Illuminated Wind Cones
FEC’s Externally lighted wind cone meets the FAA AC 150/5324-27C and ICAO Annex 14 design requirements. It is made of aluminium or stainless steel not carbon steel, allowing it to last much longer. The hinged base on FEC’s wind cone allows for easy accessibility when maintenance is needed. The base and pole are powder coated orange for high visibility and long-lasting protection against severe weather. Wind cones can be installed on the ground, roof or wall.

Three Colour Heliport Location Beacon
Our 500 watt identification beacon provides long range visibility, even in heavily lighted areas. The beacon also provides an image retaining pulse type of flash for better locatability. The three beacon has individual coloured fixtures. You may
choose from red, blue, clear, yellow, or green.
Each is visible from all directions and has a FAA approved glass lens that is mounted on a weather resistant, cast aluminium fixture. The fixture is mounted in a heavy powder coated pipe candelabra for easy installation on a pole, a wind cone or on a rooftop. This fixture has the effect of a rotating beacon with no moving parts.
