FEC Heliports Worldwide in conjunction with IMT Lighting is able to provide complete lighting packages for both offshore and onshore helidecks and for both Ex-hazardous and safe areas. Be it individual lights, to complete ‘Helideck Wave-Off’ systems, obstruction lighting, wind socks or general/area lighting we can offer packages to suit your individual requirements.
The IMT range of helideck/offshore lighting is resistant against explosions, vibrations, water and salt. In addition IMT offshore lighting systems comply with the following international guidelines, directives, standards and recommended practices:-
- ICAO – International Civil Aviation Organization – Annex 14 Vol – II – Heliports
- ATEX and CAP 437 – Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas – Guidance on Standards
Our range of offshore helideck lighting equipment includes perimeter lights, floodlights, illuminated windsocks, wave-off lights (Status Lights) and obstruction lights. All products are in line with CAP437 regulations.
We can also offer the below products (plus general/area lighting) in IQL versions, which are sealed for life (no requirement for bulb changes), maintenance free, will burn for 100,000 hours+ and also come with a 10 year warranty. Aquarius ILED ® Helideck Status Light
The Aquarius ILED Status light is a sealed for life luminaire capable of operating at ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C up to +40°C. This status light is both shock and vibration resistant and will serve for 80,000 hours maintenance free. Manufactured to meet or exceed international standards ICAO Annex 14 and CAP437 the Aquarius ILED Status Light is ATEX Explosion proof Category 2 Protection certified and has an IP rating of IP66. The perfect status light for offshore Helidecks.

Aquarius ILED® Green Perimeter Light
The Aquarius ILED Green Perimeter Light is a maintenance free, explosion proof perimeter light capable of operating at ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C up to +55°C. Sealed for life and shock and vibration resistant to standards according to ICAO Annex 14, CAA CAP437 and IMO Modu code 2001 this perimeter light will serve for approximately 100,000 hours maintenance free. Certification details include ATEX Classification: Group II, Category 2, Gas and Dust. Area Classification: Category 2 (Zone 1 and 21) Certificate: KEMA 08ATEX0158X Marking: II 2 G Ex e mb II T4 II 2 D Ex tD A21. ILED® Aquarius Floodlight
The Aquarius ILED® Helideck Floodlight is a maintenance free light capable of operating at ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C up to +40°C. Shock and vibration resistant to standards according to ICAO Annex 14, CAA CAP437 the Aquarius ILED® Floodlight will serve for approximately 100,000 hours maintenance free. Manufactured in Marine Grade Anodized Aluminium, borosilicate Glass with internal fresnel lens the LED light source gives an output of 35.000 Candela. The Aquarius ILED® Helideck Floodlight is ideal for both offshore and offshore applications.

Aquarius Internally Illuminated Windsock With Optional ILED® Obstruction Light
The ILED® Illuminated windsock system (or ‘wind indicator’) has been designed for use on helideck platforms and other offshore locations, in order to give a clear indication of the direction of the wind and a general indication of the wind speed. The ILED illuminated windsock configuration is made up of a Stainless steel 316L pole with a mounting flange, maintenance free ILED® luminaire which is made of corrosion resistant aluminium and is mounted on top of the pole in the center of the windsock. To prevent glare the windsock is fitted with a reflector which turns simultaneously with the windsock around the pole. The ILED Illuminated windsock is shock and vibration resistant, operational in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C up to +40°C and has an Ingress protection rating of IP66.

Taurus ILED® Red Obstruction Light
The Taurus ILED Red Obstruction light is a low intensity, maintenance free for up to 50,000 hours, sealed for life, shock and vibration resistant, ATEX Explosion proof Category 2 Protection light.
Operational in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C up to +55°C and manufactured according to international standards ICAO Annex 14 and CAP 437 the Taurus Obstruction is suitable for offshore helideck applications. Can also supplied with IQL technology, sealed for life, maintenance free and with a 10 year warranty. The IQL version can also be supplied with emergency battery backup (Please see datasheets below)

Aquarius Helideck Status Light Control Panel
Maintenance free and explosion proof the Aquarius Helideck Status Light Control Box has an ingress protection rating of IP66, enclosure type: EJB 15A with Dimensions*: 580x428x273 (mm) and manufactured in corrosion resistant aluminium. Operational in an ambient temperature range of -20 C-> +40C with an incoming voltage of 24Vdc or 230Vac (other voltages available on request).
