SOLAS II-2 Standard Helideck Rescue Equipment
In some circumstances lives may be lost is simple ancillary rescue equipment is not readily available.
SOLAS strongly recommends the provision of at least the following equipment stored in a manner that provides for immediate use and protection from the elements.
The sizes of equipment are not detailed but should be appropriate for the types of helicopters expected to use the facility.
