Since 1991, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) has responded to more than 47,000 missions averaging 2,000 per year, making it one of the longest established and busiest air ambulance organisations in the UK.

FEC Heliports has a proven history of working with HEMS. For MAAC, we supply Portable Helipad Lights to operational secondary landing sites across the region. The charity receives no Government or National Lottery funding and so the portable lights were kindly funded by the Helicopter Emergency Landing Pad (HELP) Appeal, as they will do for other Air Ambulance charities.

This partnership between the three organisations has resulted in the creation of clear, safe, night-time landing sites in key locations that were challenging to get to by road – saving lives.
